SUMMARY

The successful candidate in this role will be required to perform all functions of steel bending ensuring safety, quality and productivity at the fabrication shop.

JOB DUTIES

• Participating in safety culture via reporting
• Bend rebar on a table bender without assistance
• Set up table for different types of bends required

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Knowledge and commitment to workplace safety.

• A minimum of three years' experience in bending machine set-up and programming
• Knowledge of bending equipment and ability to adjust and solve problems as needed
• Ability to operate and/or read a tape measure, calipers, protractors blueprints and process sheets
• Overhead Crane and forklift certified.

• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs), walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor.

• Use of Personal Protective Equipment.
