In 2024, we installed a 725 kW-DC photovoltaic generation system at 570 Wilkinson Ave with 1,360 panels. During the longer, sunnier days of late spring, summer, and early fall, it will produce more power than the facility consumes, sending the surplus to the electrical grid. Conversely, during winter and nighttime, when energy production is lower, additional power will be drawn from the grid. Over a year, the system is designed to supply 80-90% of this location’s energy needs.
By reducing reliance on fossil fuels, the system will eliminate approximately 300 tonnes of carbon emissions annually, contributing to a cleaner, greener future.
