Construction Project Manager

We offer fully integrated project services- from fabrication and metalizing to transportation and erection. We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to help lead these complex, high‑impact projects with confidence and technical excellence.
We are seeking a proactive, detail‑oriented Construction Project Manager to guide multiple projects from initiation through completion. In this important role, you will drive project success by managing scope, schedules, budgets, and quality standards while fostering strong collaboration across cross‑functional teams. You will maintain a solid understanding of project contracts and technical requirements, serve as the primary client contact, attend key project meetings, and build strong customer relationships. Your knowledge of project management best practices will support smooth execution and continuous improvement across all initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Act as an ambassador for Cherubini’s Safety Program by advocating for the health and wellbeing of yourself and others in the office, on site, and in the shop.
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget
- Maintain intimate familiarity with both the contractual and technical requirements of designated projects.
- Manage the preparation of shop drawings and erection plans. Review design and shop drawings.
- Prepare requests for information and ensure prompt follow up. Prepare and issue work packages to the shop floor.
- Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress against established schedules
- Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors
- Represent company on matters such as business services and union contracts negotiation
- Prepare progress reports and issue progress schedules to clients
- Direct the purchase of building materials or land acquisitions
Requirements
- A university degree in civil engineering or a college diploma in construction technology is preferred.
- Several years of experience in the construction industry, including experience as a construction supervisor or field superintendent.
- Preference will be given to those with previous experience steel fabrication experience.
- PMP Certification and/or familiarity with the PMP Body of Knowledge is considered an asset.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $63,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
