Turcot Bridge
The Turcot Interchange located in Montreal QC spanning the Lachine Canal connects highways 15, 20 and 720 to the nearby Champlain Bridge as well as linking Montreal-Pierre-Elliott Trudeau international airport and downtown Montréal. Cherubini is supplying bridge structures E and F consisting of 40 and 46 box girders respectively, including all transverse structural framing. These bridges are separated by a central steel box column “pylon” that with a cladding system also fabricated by Cherubini. The client is KPH Turcot (Kiewit-Parsons-Holcim), the owner is MTQ. All steel was coated with a shop applied white Sherwin Williams paint system to MTQ specifications. All components fabricated and trial fit in Dartmouth NS. Total combined weight of 7111 tons.
